With the week being of for World Cup 2010 Qualifiers, it means that the rumour mills are working out to make a groundwork for the approaching transfer window this break. Let me try to cover the basic stories as my own groundwork here at 11Reds for the coming times. In relation with ManUtd, the rumours of strong interest and validity (that rules out the stupid Barcelona rumour for Wayne Rooney) we have two of them. Players in question being Nani and Carlton Cole.

The rumor mills are gaining momentum with the buzz of David Silva being about to join United come this January transfer window. Silva was one of our concrete summer targets this time around but there were a number of factors that prevented from anything coming about. Sir Alex had stressed time and again that considering the inflation in the transfer market, there was no logic in bringing in any high profile players. The summer transfer window, as it turns out, did have something huge up its sleeve, even if not being as spicy compared to last year. It ended with a bang after FIFA hit Chelsea with a ban barring them from registering any players till January 2011. Ever heard of a United Player who had it in him to be someone at Old Trafford but then suddenly mutated into a Cockroach? Well chances are you have heard the story of Carlitos Tevez! While he has been involved in badmouthing SAF over the past month, it seems all that is finally coming to an end with a medical being all that remains in the cockroach mutating further into a ‘Shitty‘ Cockroach; a species hitherto unknown to United supporters.
