Come Sunday and the Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is all prepared to copy the workman like ethics of the Scousers to take three points from the fixture. Liverpool, beat us in a well deserved match with hard work above anything else. The Chelsea Boss believes that it is this workman like spirit that the Blues need to follow to earn a victory this Sunday night.

Indeed Ancelotti would be very eager to extend the 2 point lead that Chelsea hold over us to more with the victory. He is however pretty intelligent so as not to cause a furor with any of his well crafted comments.

“Liverpool played a fantastic match, a strong match, and put a lot of pressure on the pitch. That’s why they won. They didn’t give United any possibility to play like they want to play. It was a good lesson for us because Manchester can suffer when there’s pressure on their midfielders. I don’t want to play against other team’s weaknesses. We want to put our own qualities on the pitch.

The Chelsea boss also has words of praise for our Gaffer ahead of the clash of the Titans.

“He (Ferguson) did a fantastic job with this team. For a coach to stay such a long time with one team is very difficult, not only in England but everywhere. In Italy it would be impossible, for sure. He’s a very important man for the history of this club. United have a fantastic history and Ferguson is one of the most important men in this history.”
