Premier League: Manchester United Champions 2009

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed he has turned down the chance to manage foreign clubs during his Manchester United career.

The Gaffer has brought vast success to our club during his 23 years at Old Trafford, which has understandably attracted attention overseas.

“I’ve had offers from clubs to go abroad, but I’ve never been tempted by them. I am not going on record to say who they are, but you’d be surprised by the names. It flies over your head and you get on with life. You don’t leave Manchester United.”

Indeed, Gaffer is the real reason behind all the immense success we have had and there is no denying it. I am however tempted to guess the names of the clubs that had offered him the job. I am sure Los Blancos from Bernabeu would be on the top of the list.

What other club do you guys think Fergie might have had offers from. Feel free to add comments or Tweet your thoughts to us on @11reds on Twitter. You would also like to have a look at our new Social Networking Portal strictly for die hard Mancunians only- 11Reds Connect.
