Park To Stay With United Till 2012
Ji-Sung Park, one of our most dedicated and committed players and quite clearly the best player to have come out of Asia for a long time, has agreed a new deal with United that would keep him at the club for three more years. Park’s contract was due to run out by the end of the current campaign. However, with the improved deal, Park will now stay at the club till June 2012. Park will now be earning 3.6 million pounds a year, an increase of about 800,000 pounds over his existing pay structure. [Keep Reading…]

Patrice Evra has revealed that he would love to have a repeat of United’s 2007 performance when they faced FC Seoul last time. He has scored last time for us when the teams had met.
“I feel good when I visit this country,” said Patrice. “People like me in Korea because I’m a good friend of Ji-sung Park so I always look forward to coming here. I’d love to score again but I know the most important thing is that we win.” [Keep Reading…]

Ji-sung Park will link up with the rest of our players when the squad fly to Seoul on Wednesday for our match against FC Seoul at the World Cup Stadium on Friday 24 July.
Park did not fly to Malaysia with the rest of the team as he is still on a break due to his role in South Korea’s international fixtures last month.
But a club spokesperson has confirmed the 28-year-old will join United’s pre-season tour when the team land in his home town on Wednesday.
